John Wood On the Edge of Clear Meaning (see below) is a book and DVD published on the occasion of a retrospective of John Wood’s work, November 2008, at the Visual Studies Workshop, George Eastman House and Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester. It includes an assessment of John’s work by David Levi Strauss, a complete biography and bibliography compiled by William Johnson, and an assessment of Wood’s important role as an educator for over thirty years by Ezra Shales.
